These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MyCal mobile application ("MyCal", the "App"), published by Mao Apps ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher) to use MyCal. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms and agrees to them on your behalf.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use MyCal on any device you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the usage rules of the platform you downloaded it from (Apple App Store or Google Play).

MyCal offers a Premium upgrade with three options:
Prices and the exact features included in Premium are displayed in the App at the moment of purchase. By starting a trial or purchasing a subscription you confirm you have reviewed those details.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. The free-trial period (if any) counts as the start of the subscription period for auto-renewal purposes — cancel before the trial ends if you do not want to be charged. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your platform account:
Payment: All payments are processed by Apple or Google under their respective payment terms. We do not see or store your payment details.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by the platform you purchased through (Apple or Google) under their respective refund policies. We cannot issue refunds directly. Refund policies and contact paths:
Price changes: We may change subscription prices from time to time. Apple and Google notify subscribers of price increases in advance and, where required by law, will request your re-consent before applying the new price.
The free version of MyCal includes a limited set of features and may display ads served by Google AdMob. The Premium upgrade removes ads and unlocks the additional features described in the paywall screen at the time of purchase.
MyCal performs arithmetic, scientific functions, and equation-solving using standard floating-point arithmetic and numerical methods. Results may be subject to rounding error, floating-point precision limits, solver approximations (especially for non-linear systems), or display truncation. Results provided by MyCal must not be relied on for safety-critical, financial, medical, engineering, legal, regulatory, or other professional decisions. Always verify with a qualified professional or a domain-appropriate tool before acting on a result. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any result produced by the App.
From time to time we may release updates with new features, bug fixes, security patches, or other changes. We may also designate a minimum required version of the App; when we do, copies of the App running below that version will be required to update before continued use. This mechanism exists for security, reliability, and compatibility purposes, and is used sparingly.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR QUIET ENJOYMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS, NOR THAT ANY DEFECT WILL BE CORRECTED. YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAO APPS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; in such jurisdictions, the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mao Apps and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your use or misuse of the App; or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.
MyCal integrates services from Google (AdMob and Firebase), Apple (App Store and StoreKit), and RevenueCat (subscription verification). Use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
MyCal, the Mao Apps name, the MyCal name, and all associated logos, designs, source code, copy, and content are the property of Mao Apps and are protected by intellectual-property laws. The App is licensed, not sold, to you. No rights are granted to you other than as expressly stated in these Terms.
Your content (the expressions, sheets, variables, and image themes you create or upload) remains yours. The App stores them locally on your device and we do not claim any ownership over them.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. If a change is material, we will surface a notice within the App or via the maoapps.com website. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms or applicable law. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the App. Sections 6 through 12 and Sections 15 through 17 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. To the extent permitted by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Jordan. Nothing in this Section deprives you of mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the MyCal Privacy Policy and the platform terms of Apple or Google, constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the App.
If you downloaded MyCal from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that: (a) these Terms are between you and Mao Apps, not Apple; (b) Apple is not responsible for the App or its content; (c) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support; (d) Apple is not responsible for product warranty claims, refunds, or product liability claims; and (e) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
