These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Thābit mobile application ("Thābit", the "App"), published by Mao Apps ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher) to use Thābit. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms and agrees to them on your behalf.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use Thābit on any device you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the usage rules of the platform you downloaded it from (Apple App Store or Google Play).

Thābit offers a Premium upgrade with three options:
Prices and the exact features included in Premium are displayed in the App at the moment of purchase. By starting a trial or purchasing a subscription you confirm you have reviewed those details.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. The free-trial period (if any) counts as the start of the subscription period for auto-renewal — cancel before the trial ends if you do not want to be charged. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and processed by Apple or Google under their terms. We do not see or store your payment details. Refunds are handled by the platform you purchased through (Apple / Google Play); we cannot issue refunds directly.
The free version of Thābit includes unlimited habits and core tracking, and may display ads served by Google AdMob. Premium removes ads and unlocks the additional features described on the paywall screen at the time of purchase (such as advanced insights, cloud backup, unlimited streak freezes, and accent themes).
You retain ownership of the habits, notes, and other content you create in the App. Your data is stored on your device and, only if you enable Cloud Backup, in our Firebase project (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping your own backups; we are not liable for data loss arising from device failure, uninstalling the App, or clearing app data.
Thābit is a self-improvement and habit-tracking tool. It does not provide medical, psychological, health, financial, or professional advice, and should not be used as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Prayer times shown in Islamic mode are estimates calculated from your device location using standard astronomical methods and the calculation method you select; they may differ from your local mosque or authority. Hijri dates are computed using a tabular algorithm and may differ by a day from the locally observed moon sighting — an adjustment setting is provided. Always verify times and dates with a trusted local source before relying on them for religious obligations.
From time to time we may release updates with new features, bug fixes, security patches, or other changes. Some updates may be required for continued use for security, reliability, or compatibility reasons.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR QUIET ENJOYMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAO APPS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; in such jurisdictions, the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by law.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, a notice in the App. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
