Huroofi Privacy Policy

Huroofi (حروفي) is an Arabic word-puzzle game developed by Mao Apps. This notice describes the current Android development version. We will update it if our data practices change for release.

Game saves and optional Google account

Gameplay and purchases can be used as a guest. Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous identifier. The app keeps a local save and, when connected, synchronizes completed levels, stars, earned coins, daily results, hint tokens and reward counters to our Firebase backend under your identifier. Retry-operation records prevent duplicate coin changes. Purchased coins remain in RevenueCat. Linking Google is optional and combines the remaining guest and account balances and completed progress. Firebase then processes your Google account identifier, email and available basic profile information to authenticate you. Signing in to the same linked account restores synchronized progress and balances. Changes not yet synchronized may be lost if the app or its data is removed; unlinked guest data may become unrecoverable. Settings and advertising-frequency state remain local. Android backup may also apply according to device settings.

Advertising and privacy choices

The app integrates Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. Ad requests currently use the non-personalized setting. This does not mean that no data is processed: Google's advertising SDK may process IP addresses, device identifiers, interactions and diagnostic information for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Development builds use test ad units.

Where required, the app requests consent before requesting ads. A privacy-options control is shown in Settings when Google indicates it is required. You can also manage advertising identifiers in Android settings. See how Google uses information from apps and Google's Privacy Policy.

Purchases and account security

Google Play processes payments; we do not receive payment-card details. RevenueCat processes store purchase records, product identifiers, transaction status, a Firebase user ID, paid coin balances, entitlement status and technical information needed to operate and secure purchases. Our Firebase backend records paid hint operations and verifies account identity. Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity process app/device integrity information to reduce unauthorized requests. These providers may process data on servers outside your country. See RevenueCat privacy information and Firebase privacy information. Purchase and account records are retained while needed to provide your account, restore purchases and prevent duplicate delivery, subject to deletion requests and applicable obligations.

Analytics and permissions

The current game does not send gameplay analytics to a separate Mao Apps analytics or crash-reporting service. Advertising SDK processing is described above. Gameplay does not require access to your contacts, camera, microphone or precise location.

When you contact us

If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever you include, such as a description or screenshots. We use this to respond and resolve issues. Please avoid sending unrelated personal information. We retain support correspondence as needed to handle the request and any applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Deletion and your choices

In the app, open Settings → My account and saved progress → Delete account and confirm your identity. This deletes your Firebase account and our purchase-operation records, synchronized game saves and save-operation records and requests deletion of the associated RevenueCat customer and paid wallet. The app starts a new guest journey after account deletion. Deletion can be delayed by an unresolved purchase or hint operation; contact support if recovery fails. Deletion does not automatically refund purchases or erase Google Play's own transaction records. You can also request account and data deletion without the app. Advertising-provider data, store records and device backups remain subject to their providers' controls and retention requirements. Contact us for access, correction or deletion requests; applicable rights depend on your location.

Audience

Huroofi is designed and marketed for teens and adults aged 13 and older, not specifically for younger children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate. Local rules may provide additional protections for minors.
